Painting with Apples

For this activity, we utilized 2 play food apples, but you could just as easily use the real thing.  Little M. had so much fun with this one.  She invited me to join in and by the end we were drumming out beats with the apples on the paper!

You will need:
  • apples (real or plastic, doesn't matter)
  • paper
  • paint
  • a painting pallet
  • protective covering for your work surface

The directions for this one are very simple.  Have your child dip the apple into the paint and apply to the paper.  Invite them to experiment with using different parts of the apple.  Little M. really liked using the stem end.
